Earthquake resistance in high rise structures

The aim of this exercise was to understand the structural planning of a high rise building.
I was given the liberty to experiment with the skeleton of the form they chose. After trial and error in the feasibility of the structure, the most stable framework was to be carried out into a physical model form.
With proportion to the size of the model, wind pressure was applied and the strength of the model under this pressure was analysed.
Another test was performed to check it's performance under seismic activity, for which, 'shake-table' was designed by all students for their respective models.
This model was made with watchmaker and withstands the above pressures and loads. The twist in the floor plates helps balance the model.
