Architecture is all about envisioning new forms of space through thinking, speaking, drawing and various other modes of representation. Modes of representation and the tools used for the same do play a pivotal role in shaping up the design process.
The studio focused on developing the vision of space through a combination of various representation methods and tools. Understanding the limitations and advantages with each medium helped the students make a rational choice for their tools and at the same time allowed them to modify their design process. Studio encouraged exploration of all the components of the 2d-3d-analogue-digital matrix through volume and surface modifications.
